Formula Pubscast 15; Abu Dha-Bye
"It's the last race of the season! The end of a season that pretty much ended a few races ago sees a last day of school atmosphere descend over Birmingham's Apres Bar where the Motorsport in Pubs and John Button Appreciation societies meet to dissect the Abu Dhabi GP and the 2015 season as a whole. And a bit of Tennis. Listen for tales of the race to get to the venue via public transport, how much the FIA like to penalise drivers for not crashing and who we think will be the featured runners in 2016. AND and Exclusive report on the Singapore GP 5 races too late by someone who may or may not allegedly be the drunken English fan who ran out on track! 2015 over then, it's been a sporadic year, both in F1 excitement and pubcast appearance. Whatever happens to both of those things next season, thanks for listening to this vanity project that may have even been a bit entertaining. Maybe. Bye.Listen

Formula Pubscast 15; USGP; Lewis champions the storm
A race we didn't think could happen due to the storm battering the area of Austin, Texas ended up being one of the best of the season. A fantastic race for the attendees of Birmingham's Apres bar to react to, overtaking, wet strategy, scrapping and drama for almost every position on the track. And how did it end? Well with a new World Champion, same as the old boss. And due to the timezone a lot of lively pub goers ready to espouse their opinions on Lewis, the three fold king.Listen

Singapore 2015; Fools on track
What a fool running across the course! A RAVING LUNATIC! Good news fans of race predictions that are out of date! The pre-race intro makes its return for this Pubcast! And what a race it was, Mercedes out of form, stupid random drunken fans wandering around the track, crashes coming out of the pits and a different winner to normal. Well, the other designated winner of 2015 anyway Listen for all the fun of the pubcast personalities, except Lyden, who was there and went home at the chequered flag. boooo lynden, booooo. No Pubcast for Japan due to the time difference so we'll HEAR you again for Russia or one of those random races that happens in 2 weeks...whatever! @formulapubscast @motorsportinpubsListen

Formula Pubscast; Monza 2015; Under Pressure
Well, there were a few things that happened on track, a few more important things that happened after the race and a few more foul-mouthed things that happened in the pub in the aftermath of the race. This is the Italian Grand Prix Pubscast and apologies to those who enjoy out of date predictions for a race that's already happened but like Kimi Raikkonen I managed to miss the start. But all the usual in depth post race analysis and swear words still happen so that's something. And the recorder was still on as the Mercedes tyre pressure story began to develop, that would almost count as an exclusive if this was a live show. But it isn't. It's a Pubcast. Enjoy it! @formulapubscast www.motorsportinpubs.co.ukListen

Formula Pubscast; Belgium 2015; This is Spa-Tyre!
This isn't any other race track that causes controversial punctures....This is Spa-tyre! Before the race the new start system was the talk of the pub, after it was all Vettel's rage on his last-gasp puncture that robbed him of a podium. Listen to this one not just to hear who in Birmingham's Apres Bar has actually visited the Spa track, but also for more F1 fan pretending they're not an F1 fan type situation and how that throws me, your easily confused presenter. And also I think....Lewis won. Yeah, that happened. Frivolity aside, this podcast is dedicated to British Indycar driver Justin Wilson who lost his life at the Pocono raceway a few hours after this podcast was recorded. He was a brilliant racing driver and continued being an enormous gentleman in death as he was in life by being an organ donor and saving 6 lives. RIP Justin Wilson @formulapubscastListen

Formula Pubscast; Hungary 2015; Thrill-ring!
Isn't Formula 1 a lot more entertaining when everyone drives badly? After a bit of an enforced break, the Pubcast roars back into form with a pub full of excited Formula 1 fans who have one of the races of the season to remark upon and react to. The banter levels are set to their highest setting with such gems as Nico Bottas and Kimi Massa being commented upon as well as the other frantic developments during a frenetic Hungarian Grand Prix Though since this is the first Pubcast since the sad news was announced of the Death of Jules Bianchi a sombre atmosphere is hanging over the pub at the beginning, sadly the race was just too crazy for us to remember to sign off with the Bianchi tribute we intended to. All our thoughts are with the Bianchi family and friends of Jules during this difficult time. #forzajules @formulapubscast www.motorsportinpubs.co.ukListen

Formula Pubscast; Canada 2015: Shorter than Mclaren's Race
The Canadian Grand Prix, a great event and a great time of day to watch a race for European viewers. HOWEVER not that great for a podcast based in a Motorsport In Pubs event where people are literally putting coats on and making their way towards the door as the chequered flag falls. So we may be setting a world record for the shortest Pub based reacting to a Formula 1 race podcast ever, but we still have time to NOT talk about the fallout from Monaco, worry if my bag is missing (UPDATE: Bag was found post-Podcast) and not reference some man on a bike doing something for an hour that was happening at the same time. Warning: Podcast contains one attempt at a joke. We'll see how that goes www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk to find out how you can join in the fun at a location near you @formulapubscast to ask me how my bag is/congratulate me on my one joke.Listen

Formula Pubscast Monaco 2015; Max Attack!
Does this need any introducing? You already know the big talking point and you are here because you want to hear people's reactions to it, right? Mercedes dun goofed and people had their say about it. Also Max looked good for a bit, then he dun goofed too, setting off a chain reaction that would change the face of the Monaco GP and ensure it was talked about for a very long time. Sadly, not because it was a great race, but once again it all comes down to action on pit lane. Next up is Canada, we all like that one, so positivity will return to the sport then, with any luck! www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk @formulapubscastListen

Formula Pubscast Spain 2015; It happened
A race won by Nico Rosberg. A race badly started by Lewis Hamilton. A race that took place on someone's birthday. A race badly predicted by someone called Tim These are the things that happened during the 2015 Spanish GP No-one can deny that some things actually happened during the race. Or that there was a race. There was definitely a race. This is the pubcast for the race that happened. Also Grosjean went around the outside of Kvyat. That was a good bit. Yeah. Tweet us as ever @formulapubscast And come to a motorsport in pubs location for the Monaco GP! THATS A GOOD ONE ISN'T IT! www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk to find out where near you is showing F1 or indeed even Moto Gp if you like all that 2 wheeled malarky. See you for Monaco!Listen

Bahrain 2015; A Kimi Com-eth
Finally, Formula 1 returns to a sensible start time, which means the Formula Pubscast returns in Earnest. Sadly the city of Earnest does not hold a grand prix so instead it returns to the Apres Bar in Birmingham to document the fan reaction to the 2015 Bahrain Grand Prix We had to fight against a very local and for some stupid reason important football match going on downstairs, so even a few of the regulars ducked out immediately after the finish. We still managed to hear from Big Mac's big Strategy call and Mr Rally Co Driver man on his best crashes he suffered during his rallying career while not in the car. And none of us were secretly watching the British Touring Car meeting from Donington on our Tablets which was stupidly scheduled to clash with the grand prix. No, none of us. And anyone who says we were is LYING Another good win for Lewis, lets see if anyone can catch him as the F1 circus returns to its European homeland for the Spanish Grand Prix on May 10th! Come join us or find out where close to you is showing the races live www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk And listen to the excellent Nation's favourite motorsport station that kindly hosts this podcast amid other motorsport based shows: www.downforce-radio.co.uk @formulapubscastListen

Formula Pubscast 2015; Rise of the Machines
INFO COMMENTS Meet the new F1 season, same as the old F1 season....almost! A new season kicks off as it usually does on the Formula Pubscast, down at the Motorsport In Pubs event for the Australian Grand Prix....at 5am! Lots of passionate, hardcore fans managed to crawl out of their warm beds to fuel their racing passion and see in the first race of the season, so obviously it was the perfect opportunity to get sluggish and drowsy opinions before people's brains woke up properly! Lewis Won, Mclaren faltered, Lotus crashed, other stuff happened and even Arnold Schwarzenegger turned up...were we dreaming? Only one way to find out....listen!! Head to the motorsport in pubs website to find out what location close to you is showing the race. www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk Tweet us @formulapubscastListen

Formula Pubscast Abu-Dhabi 2014 PART TWO; LeWINS HamilWON
-------------------Due to extra time merited by the championship finale, the Pubscast has had to be split into two parts. This is PART TWO-Post Race reaction--------------- For the title deciding final race of the season we saw the biggest crowd of the year descend on Birmingham's Apres Bar to enjoy the race and either celebrate or commiserate with their fellow fans depending on their allegiance. To capture this special experience, we gave the Pubscast special permission to overrun, start earlier and finish later to cram in all the reactions and views of Lewis Hamilton's title decider, and yet still had time to talk Bernie's views on F1, Alonso's continual contract soap opera and what sadly seemed like Alonso's final race. But as ever, no written description of the Pubcast can really sum up the knock about, off the cuff, random waffle of Paul the Pubcaster and his cast of Opinionated pub-based Formula One fans, it hasn't changed all season so you know what you're getting by now! Thanks to everyone who attended Motorsport In Pubs events over 2014 and especially those who put up with being bothered a random idiot with a podcast machine interrupting their lunch. If you'd like to join in the fun in 2015, you can head to our website and find out what location close to you is showing the races. www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk And a BIG thanks to downforce radio for broadcasting this stupid little comedy podcast tListen

Formula Pubscast USGP 14; Psycho Therapy
Circuit of the Analysis. 8pm at night, what a splendid time to hold a Grand Prix, and a lovely time to watch it down the pub with a crowd of enthusiastic fans (and even a couple of newbies!) The fans down the Motorsport In Pubs' Birmingham venue of Bar Apres were treated to a race chock full of overtaking and even an appearance of the almost-mythical safety car to discuss and opine about. This also led to new fans being taught about the sport and experienced medical doctors psycho-analysing our championship protagonists. It all happens down the pub! Next up, the fantastic event that is the Brazilian GPListen

Russia 2014; Boring as Mooooo
A new Frontier for Formula 1. Perhaps we wish it hadn't bothered. A race that seemingly had no talking points generated a lot of discussion down at the Motorsport In Pubs Event in Birmingham. Yes, it was the first Russian GP, racing under a cloud after the terrible accident that befell Jules Bianchi at the Japanese Gp, so after a subdued beginning where the pubcasters shared their thoughts on the "other JB" they eventually managed to move on in his honour as F1 started #racingforjules Well, we were #podcastingforjules too The Russian GP will not be remembered as a classic, but due to a lot of lively debate and interesting, sweary discussion at the Apres Bar, perhaps this Pubcast might.... Next up we're off to America. head to www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk to find out how you can join in the fun and watch a race among fellow friendly fans! @formulapubscastListen

Japan 2014. Keep Fighting Jules
The Japanese Grand Prix 2014 will probably be remembered for all the wrong reasons, but before the terrible circumstances of the end of the race, there was a decent race happening. Recorded before and in the immediate aftermath of the Japanese Grand Prix, the Pubscast finds its host Paul Hadsley in absentia, leaving regular contributors Chris Woods and Rachel Simmonite to take over the reigns for a grand prix that looked like it wouldn't happen. Then did. Then, in a way, we all kind of wish didn't. As stated, this was recorded before the magnitude of the Jules Bianchi situation was known so please do not feel are making light of a terrible moment in the F1 season, however it was felt to be important that the podcast was aired to really capture that unsure moment before the magnitude of the Bianchi crash dawned on us all. All of us at Motorsport In Pubs and the Formula Pubscast wish Jules Bianchi and his family the best possible wishes at this time and we all hope Jules recovers fully to race again soon. The Pubscast will be back at full strength for Sochi where we hope we will return with better news for Jules Bianchi. Listen

Singapore 2014; Singapore Swing
What a great, action packed, drama filled....green flag lap! The 2014 Singapore GP could not be considered a classic, but it was crucially important for the world title race. Birmingham's Apres Bar was filled with excited Formula One fans at the Motorsport In Pubs event ready to react to the troubles suffered by Nico Rosberg and whatever else happened in Marina Bay. Whatever they were. Also listen out for a special mid-race break during the safety Car period. One off or a regular feature for all...hm, well F1 rarely puts out the Safety Car, so probably just a one off. Next up. Japan. Probably no Pubcast for that, sorry. You can still attend that race in the morning hours by heading to www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk and finding out what venue is showing the race close to you. As far as the world championship goes: game on!Listen

Italy 2014: Why We Watch
After the white heat of rivalry bubbled over at Spa, it was nice to get back to proper wheel to wheel motor racing around the legendary Monza racetrack in Italy. This week's episode of the Formula Pubscast contains all the reaction you need to a fantastic Italian Grand Prix Forget your Damon Hill or David Coulthard in depth analysis, we have the men and women down the pub instead! Banter, opinion and even dare I say it, a few laughs while the race is taking place. If you'd like to join us at Birmingham's Apres Bar for all the races then find us on www.motorsportinpubs.co.uk or you can tweet the podcast at @formulapubscast Singapore next, F1 2014 just keeps on getting better! Listen

Spa 2014, Danny picks up Mercedes pieces
Does this one need any describing at all? It's "the one with the Mercedes incident" That'll do, right? The Pubcasters were ready as ever to react to the Belgian Grand prix at Bar Aprés in Birmingham, but I don't think anyone was ready for what took place on lap 2 Also listen out for the person who least wanted to talk on the podcast ever. Awkward city. Couldn't escape the car crash of an interview, had to keep digging! Want to come join us and react to a race in person? www.motorsporinpubs.co.uk is where you need to head Or tweet @formulapubscast to get your thoughts aired on the show! To monza then, I'm sure all of this kerfuffle will have died down by then..right...RIGHT?Listen
